The large area of this penthouse on the third floor of a canal house in the centre of Amsterdam requested an open attitude. With the existing elements, the interior did not come into its own. Thanks to some bold, architectural interventions the potential of different spaces were uncovered.

The nine-metre-long kitchen and the large fireplace in the living area are irrevocably eye-catching, as are the kitchen island with integrated dining table. With their generous dimensions, they bring balance and tranquillity to the interior, which increases the quality of life. Toilet, bathroom and storage room are located behind a wenge facade.
