There wasn’t actually much wrong with the original floor plan of this villa, built in 1906 in a historical part of Amersfoort. Consequently, the clear and classical layout, with living spaces arranged left and right of the elegant entrance, offered itself as a logical starting point for its extensive renovation.

The interior was thus completely rebuilt, not only to ensure its longevity far into the future, but also to allow it to offer all the comforts required of a modern home today. In short, a contemporary interpretation of the high standards to which it was built. In this regard, the building’s history offered various points of connection. And the new design retains the atmosphere of bygone eras in the stately facade and entrance, too.
