While the stately character of this apartment in a former boys’ boarding school close to the village of Loenen on the River Vecht has been retained, the interior design – at the request of its young owners – has been given a modern face-lift. A combination of authentic elements and appropriate new additions reinforce the original image of this historic space, which dates from the first half of the eighteenth century.
